11th concentration piece based off of “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. There was a lot more that I wanted to do with it since there’s so much imagery in the original text, but unfortunately there were time constraints. I like the technique on this one, though.
As always, please let me know what you think and feel free to give me suggestions. Enjoy!

Couldn’t sleep, so I did this.
Not gonna lie, but I kinda love Mistral. Definitely one of my favorite characters from Metal Gear Rising. (I could get into a whole debate on female sexualization in video games, but I’d rather leave it be).
Time: 3 hours
Character is not mine.

Couldn’t sleep last night so I sketched this to relieve some anxiety. Based off of a screenshot from 30 Seconds to Mars’ music video, “Up in the Air”.

My final concentration piece based off of A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh series. Winnie the Pooh has meant a lot to me throughout my life (in more ways than I can possibly express) so I thought it fitting to do it for my last piece, as a sort of thank you and farewell to all of my friends and classmates throughout high school. As always, enjoy. :)

The photographers in my class found out that if they pester me enough, I will paint them. This is my 4th concentration piece based off of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. (Oddly enough, the other photographer’s portrait was of Hamlet). I don’t like the way the skulls turned out, but I didn’t have time to fix them because of deadlines.

AP Concentration piece based off of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
I don’t love this piece, but I think that it works pretty well. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. :)

Messing around with pastels to relieve anxiety. Based off of the imagery of the green light from The Great Gatsby and drawn while listening to the soundtrack.

I’ve always wanted an Assassin’s Creed game set during the French Revolution. I think that I could be very interesting; having the main character possibly help with the overthrow of the 4 governments, the Reign of Terror, the Thermidorian Reaction etc. There’s a lot of material to work with. Plus it could extend into Napoleon’s reign.
Also, I wanted a female assassin. (which could be interesting, touching on the changing role of women during this time)
So basically she’s an original character. This is just a sketch for the outfit, not the face. Enjoy?

Just two quick chibi sketches of Emmy Altava from the Professor Layton series and Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite.

Also, many thanks to

for uploading a fantastic BioShock walkthrough for those of us who are easily scared.

4:30 a.m. and I can’t sleep, so I decided to ink(?) a sketch I did on the plane ride to San Francisco.

Nothing says boredom like sketching on the back of a barf bag.
